Okay babes, we can all agree, Bozeman in winter is a vibe. The air smells like pine and espresso, Main Street looks straight out of a snow globe, and even us locals start romanticizing our own hometown.
Here at Intrigue Ink, we don’t just sell tees and prints, we live for this time of year. The snow, the small-town sparkle, the excuse to wear five layers of cute outerwear and call it “fashion.” It’s our season to sip something warm, shop something local, and celebrate everything that makes this town magic. -> Shop our Holiday Gift Guide if you need any and all gift ideas!
So, whether you’re rolling into town for the weekend or just looking for an excuse to leave your couch (and that blanket burrito you’ve been living in), we’ve rounded up everything worth doing this holiday season. From our own store events to the best eats, soaks, and snowy adventures in Bozeman.
Let’s make this winter funnnnn, shall we? 💫

Laughter, music, and gooood fun with the ladiessss!

Can’t make it downtown? Join our Online Ladies Night - Friday, November 21st - same deals, same vibes, just BYOC (bring your own cocktail 😉).
Shop Small – Saturday, November 29th
After the chaos of Black Friday, take a deep breath and shop where it actually feels good.
Shop Small is our favorite excuse to celebrate the heart of Bozeman: small businesses, local makers, and the people who make Main Street magic.
We’ll be keeping the good vibes rolling with a special gift card promo -

December – Twinkle Lights, Hot Cocoa, Repeat
🎅 45th Annual Christmas Stroll
December 6 | 4:30–7:30 PM | Downtown Bozeman
If Main Street had a heartbeat, this would be it. Santa leads the parade, the lights flip on, and the whole town fills with cheer. Expect cocoa, carolers, crafts, and at least one person you know in every direction.
🎨 December Art Walk
December 12 | 5–8 PM | Downtown Bozeman
Our favorite kind of Friday night! Local art, glowing shop windows, and good company. Stroll through downtown, pop into Intrigue Ink, (Keep your eyes on Instagram for our featured artist announcement soon!)

Bozeman’s Holiday Shows & Laughs
By the time you’ve shopped your heart out and made best friends with at least three downtown shop owners, it’s time to switch from shopping bags to fun.
Bozeman may be a mountain town, but don’t let the puffy coats fool you. This place knows how to put on a show. Between local theater, live music, and stand-up that’ll have you laughing your snow boots off, there’s plenty to keep your nights merry, bright, and maybe just a little dramatic (the fun kind).
Here’s what we’re marking on our calendars this season:
🩰 The Nutcracker – Yellowstone Ballet Company
November 29–30 | Willson Auditorium, Bozeman
Holiday nostalgia incoming! From sugarplums to snowflakes, this classic ballet is the cozy tradition we crave.
🩰 The Nutcracker – Montana Ballet Company & Bozeman Symphony
December 6–7, 2025 | Willson Auditorium, Bozeman
Because yes! Bozeman loves The Nutcracker that much. The Montana Ballet Company teams up with the Bozeman Symphony Orchestra for this enchanting full-length performance, complete with live symphonic music under the baton of Norman Huynh. It’s elegance, grace, and pure holiday sparkle. The perfect December weekend outing.
🎭 A Christmas Carol – The Ellen Theatre
December 5–21, 2025 | Multiple Showtimes | The Ellen Theatre, Downtown Bozeman
Bozeman’s own A Christmas Carol is a whole holiday mood. Presented by Montana TheatreWorks, this Dickens classic gets a local twist! Complete with laughter, heart, and just enough holiday spirit to make even Scrooge tear up. Perfect for date night, family night, or that “I just need something cozy and wholesome” night.
😂 I’ll Be Dead For Christmas – Last Best Comedy
December 3, 2025 | 7:00 PM | Last Best Comedy, 321 E. Main Alley Entrance
When your holiday cheer needs a little dark humor, this is your show. Bozeman’s funniest locals deliver the laughs in this offbeat seasonal special. It’s irreverent, hilarious, and the perfect break from all the Hallmark movies (you can admit it.... you’ve seen at least six).
🏔️ Winter Adventures – Because Hibernation Is Overrated
Winter here isn’t just a season; it’s a full-on personality. We’re talking powder days, steamy soaks, and ice rinks that look straight out of a holiday movie. Whether you’re chasing adrenaline or just a good excuse to wear your cutest snow boots, here’s how we like to make the most of those chilly Montana days.

🎿 Hit the Slopes
We’re spoiled, and we know it. Just outside Bozeman are some of the best ski spots in the state:
-
Bridger Bowl – classic, close, and full of locals who “know a shortcut” down the mountain.
-
Big Sky Resort – for when you want your snow and your après to be a little extra.
-
Crosscut Mountain Sports Center – your go-to for cross-country glides and peaceful pine views.
💦 Hot Springs Season (aka self-care, Montana-style)
Post-ski, post-shop, post-life — hot springs are the answer.
-
Norris Hot Springs – rustic, funky, and full of character (and sometimes a banjo).
-
Chico Hot Springs – a quick drive and worth it for the cocktails alone.
-
Bozeman Hot Springs – close to home, glowing lights, weekend live music.
⛸️ Skate
Nothing says “holiday montage moment” like ice skating. Whether you’re gliding gracefully or holding onto your bestie for dear life, here’s where to go:
-
Bogart Pavilion – fully covered, fenced, and kid-approved.
-
Beall Park – charming and close to downtown.
-
Haynes Pavilion – indoor skating, hockey, and lessons galore.
🍽️ Eat, Drink & Be Merry
You can’t sleigh (😉) the holidays on an empty stomach, and Bozeman’s food scene does not disappoint.
🥂 Our Go-To Grub Spots:
-
Blackbird Kitchen – candlelight, cozy, and carbs that feel like a hug.
-
Revelry – the kind of place that makes you want to linger over dessert.
-
Feed Cafe – brunch that cures even the iciest moods. (Pro tip: sourdough pancakes, always.)
🍸 Happy Hour, Elevated:
-
Plonk – moody lighting, killer cocktails, and that “we should dress up” kind of energy.
-
Urban Kitchen – sleek, modern, and perfect for toasting the season.
- Sky Shed - great views, great vibes, and the best times happen here. Did you know the Armory Hotel is the tallest building in Bozeman?
